Title: Marketing Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our marketing department as a Marketing Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our marketing team with various tasks, including but not limited to trade shows, office administration, photoshoot coordination, inter department, sales team, and customer communications.

Responsibilities

Trade Shows

- Write up orders for Trade Show and Salesmen Samples

- Monitor sample orders from production to ensure timely completion

- Review samples when packing to ensure graphic & decoration are current applicable to that show

- Organize and pack completed samples into trade show containers

- Prepare, assemble, pack various trade show materials

- Receive and organize show shipments or outbound materials from the shipping department

- Coordinate with trade show booth builders and shippers for pick-up and transportation

- Travel to show locations and assist with booth set-up, including garment display

- Support the sales team during shows with set up, distributing materials, speaking with customers, etc

- Pack up trade show materials at the end of each show and arrange pick-up for the next location

Office Duties

- Track marketing account orders and close out outstanding orders

- Select samples for production based on marketing needs

- Dispatch samples or catalogs to Sales Reps as needed

- Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales Reps

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the showroom and marketing storage room

- Update showroom inventory with current sales materials and manage relevant styles

- Create and print information labels for sample hangtags

- Assist with any other marketing-related tasks as needed

Photoshoots

- Research and contact potential locations for photoshoots

- Compile all photoshoot information into an Excel sheet

- Schedule scouting days and maintain communication with contacts until the photoshoot

- Arrange RV, catering, and permits for shoot days

- Pack photoshoot materials, equipment, and model clothes

- Steam garments and assist photographer and models during the shoot

Qualifications

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Great communication skills with an ability to work with multiple departments and directly to customers

Responsible enough to ship to, set up, work, break down, and send back trade show booths up to 20'x80'

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

A good eye for design and working knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator preferred

Willingness to travel for trade shows and photoshoots

Previous experience in a marketing or administrative role preferred

Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 50lbs
