Summary:

Aristo Intensive Behavioral Health Treatment Services, a reputable behavioral healthcare facility located in Renton, Washington, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Intake Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related behavioral health field and prior experience working as an intake coordinator within a behavioral healthcare facility. The Intake Coordinator will play a vital role in conducting basic assessments for clients and ensuring a smooth intake process.Join our team and help create a supportive environment that promotes healing and resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial screenings and assessments for new clients to determine their needs and eligibility for services.
• Collect and review client information, including medical history, mental health history, and insurance information.
• Coordinate intake appointments and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and referral sources to gather relevant information and address any questions or concerns.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client intake and assessment activities.
• Assist clients in navigating the healthcare system and accessing appropriate services and resources.
• Provide support and guidance to clients and their families throughout the intake process.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an intake coordinator within a behavioral healthcare facility.
• Strong understanding of mental health and substance abuse disorders, as well as treatment modalities and resources.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Ability to conduct basic assessments and screenings for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients and their families.
