MVP Recruitment is assisting an incredible high-end senior living and retirement organization with the recruitment of an Assistant Controller. This position will report to the Director of Finance and work closely with the CEO and other Sr. Leadership.
The organization provides an exceptional setting for people 65 with multiple living options, a variety of amenities and services, engaging activities and programs, and of course excellent clinical care.
The Assistant Controller will be a key member of the leadership team. Assisting in managing day-to-day general ledger account and finance activities for the organization. Primarily responsible for leadership, oversight, and training of Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Accounting staff.
The ideal candidate:

• A self-starter who enjoys mentoring and leading a small team of finance professionals
• An experienced finance and accounting professional.
• 5 years of management experience
• 8 years of accounting and/or finance experience
• A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• Experience within the Senior Living or residential management industries.
• Knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, taxes and banking is required
• Strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling experience is preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus
