My Business Resource is Hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Plain City, OH) Near Plain, OH

Founded in 2001, TECHnology SITE Planners, Inc. (TechSite), provides engineering and construction management services. TechSite employs engineers and project managers, offers maintenance services across multiple states, and provides full-time facility management personnel for customer locations. With a strong foundation in design-build services and a commitment to customer satisfaction, TechSite is a leader in critical space design. 
TechSite is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license and ideally, experience in the Mission Critical field such as data centers and control centers. The role involves developing mechanical solutions for Mission Critical concerns, managing design projects and multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing engineers and designers, and mentoring team members. Responsibilities include creating reliable mechanical designs, conducting facility assessments, and providing field support during installation and testing. Proficiency in AutoCAD and preferably Revit is required, along with the ability to manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets. The candidate should also be skilled in writing project reports, developing sequences of operations, and participating in system commissioning. Professional development and continuous improvement through training and feedback are encouraged.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop solutions to solve our customers’ Mission Critical mechanical concerns.
  • Identify scope, schedule, and budget for mechanical design projects.
  • Manage design projects including coordination of multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Manage customer expectations on your assigned projects, including timely response to questions and issues.
  • Oversee the work of other engineers and designers to meet project deadlines.
  • Mentor other Mechanical Engineers on the team.
  • Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic and working drawings, develop details and edit specifications for exceptionally reliable mechanical system solutions.
  • Write coherent project reports.
  • Perform mechanical facility condition assessments.
  • Write or contribute to the creation of quotations for mechanical design or turnkey services.
  • Create and update documentation directly, when needed, using AutoCAD software. Revit experience is a plus.
  • Provide field support during installation, testing and start-up of mechanical components in the field.
  • Work with construction project management to develop overall schedules and manage time and tasks for mechanical work.
  • Understand Sequences of Operations (SOO) for mechanical systems; develop them when required for a project.
  • Assist with the commissioning of project systems including development of test scripts and active test participation.
  • Pursue professional development through training, solicit feedback on personal performance and utilize constructive criticism towards improvement
Qualifications:
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience in the Mission Critical field (e.g., data centers, control centers) is a plus.
  • Ability to identify scope, schedule, and budget for mechanical design projects, manage design projects, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and manage customer expectations.
  • Proficiency in creating and updating documentation using AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus.
