My Digital TAT2 is a nonprofit organization founded by a child psychologist and social worker who saw a need for dialogue and support around young people’s tech use. As an Educator on our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting teen mental health and shaping healthier digital habits for young people by empowering them with the knowledge and skills to be in control of their technology. My Digital TAT2 works directly with students, parents, school counselors and healthcare providers by providing them workshops and trainings that are informed by youth voices and the latest research. **Primary Responsibilities:**

We are seeking three part-time/hourly Educators who can teach in person and virtual workshops in the San Francisco Bay Area (i.e. Marin, SF, Alameda, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties, etc.) Most workshops, whether in person or virtual, occur during the school year (late August through early June). In person workshops typically occur Monday - Friday between 8:30a - 4:00p pacific; online workshops typically occur Monday - Friday between 8:30a - 4:00p pacific and on occasion, 6:00-9:00p pacific.

Educators must have 10 or more hours of availability per week to work with My Digital TAT2 during the aforementioned days/timeframes and have reliable transportation. Additionally, Educators will:

● Attend regular trainings and review curriculum content in preparation for teaching in person and/or virtual workshops;

● Represent My Digital TAT2 in a professional manner before all partners;

● Work collaboratively with the Educator team with respect to scheduling, coordination of logistics and teaching responsibilities, and other tasks as they arise; and

● Provide curriculum feedback and assist with curriculum development on an as needed basis.

This role will report to the Director of Curriculum and Programs.

**Qualifications:**

● Passionate about teen mental health and empowering young people to think critically about their online behavior and digital footprint.

● Working knowledge of digital wellness, media literacy, and technology-related challenges faced by young people.

● Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

● Experience presenting to or teaching youth and adults in academic or recreational settings virtually or in person.

● Strong working knowledge of Slack and Google Suite tools.

● Experience with child development preferred.

● Experience in educational and/or healthcare environments preferred.

● Spanish verbal and written fluency strongly preferred.

**Other Job Details:**

● Compensation: $30-$40 per hour depending on experience.

● U.S. work authorization and background check are required.
