RN - Labor and Delivery
Location: Kodiak, Alaska, United States
Salary Range: $72,057 to $108,069 (plus $15,000 signing bonus and paid relocation)
Hours: Full Time (36 hours a week), Variable Shift
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor and childbirth.
- Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections.
- Educate patients and families on prenatal care, childbirth, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and positive birth experiences.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Certification in the area of specialty (Labor and Delivery) upon hire.
