End-Client: FidelityWe are seeking highly talented and experienced software engineers to join our team, dedicated to building, and contributing to open-source software that revolutionizes the automation and digitization of business processes. Title is a Full Stack Engineer, but we're really looking for a back end engineer who is strong in NodeJS from a programming perspective. Candidates will be working on Large Scale, high volume project group. Essentially this group is looking to become the enterprise for SMS communiction within Fidelity.
Advanced Process Solutions (Client) is a technology-focused domain within Fidelity's organization dedicated to helping Fidelity deliver the best digital customer experience in the financial industry. As part of our diverse team, you will collaborate with innovative leaders to develop technology solutions that support end-to-end customer servicing, as well as underpin core & common capabilities. You will partner with cross-functional teams across multiple business units to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and help Fidelity achieve its goal of becoming a digital leader.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating cutting-edge solutions that drive the digitization efforts of Fidelity, providing our associates and customers with the digital capabilities they need for incredible service experiences. Your expertise in building and contributing to enterprise-level open-source projects will be instrumental in the success of this role.

Top Skills:
- Need to have NodeJS Development Skills, that is the number 1, most important skill.
- AWS from a deployment perspective, not rolling out, and not looking for an AWS Cloud or Devops person. Just someone who has some hands on experience working in AWS.
- I think in an ideal world they would have some previous Java experience. Or came from that background before getting into Node dev.
- Proficient in distributed system design and implementation, and the ability to ensure high-performance, high-reliability operation of large-scale systems.
- Proficient JavaScript and/or TypeScript developer with solid foundations in object-oriented programming & design patterns

- Proficient JavaScript and/or TypeScript developer with solid foundations in object-oriented programming & design patterns
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable digital services using Node / Typescript and related technologies.
- A history of contributing to existing enterprise-level open-source projects, leveraging your expertise, and collaborating with the community to drive continuous improvement.
- Contributions to the documentation and knowledge sharing within the open-source community, promoting the adoption and success of the software.
- Proficiency in automating and digitizing business processes, leveraging modern architectures and best practices.
- Familiarity working with cloud providers, preferably AWS, to deploy and manage applications utilizing services such as S3, EC2, RDS, EKS, and Kafka.
- Knowledge of Java and Java services development is a plus.
- Experience working with containers and building digital services in a serverless architecture using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda, and AWS ECS is an added advantage.
