Overview:
The Loan Officer is a dimensional and critical role which provides superior member service by accurately, efficiently performs all member lending related transactions(s), and responsibly makes sound lending decisions in accordance with My Pensacola Credit Union’s policies and procedures. This role requires a strong ability to communicate professionally and effectively (in-person, via phone, through mail, and through email) with prospective and current members on a broad range of situations. The Loan Officer must possess knowledge of all Credit Union products and services and be able to explore member needs, listen for clues, and provide solutions that meet their financial and credit needs. A Loan Officer must be flexible and willing/able to migrate lending platforms seamlessly, assist in collection duties as needed, and work as part of a team to maximize revenue growth and to meet or exceed personal and branch goals.
Qualifications:
Education: At least high school graduate.
Required Knowledge: Understanding of what equates to excellent member/customer relations, loan application review and decisioning, overall credit union lending practices and operations.
Experience Required: At least two (2) years of consumer loan experience. Residential mortgage processing experience, a bonus.
Skills/Ability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, well organized, attention to detail, work independently and with collective teams. Able to use related computer applications.
