We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Therapist to join our growing organization at My Time Recovery you will be part of a passionate and dedicated team who is committed to helping people take back control of their health and happiness!

As a Mental Health Therapist at My Time Recovery, you are trained and licensed to treat clients with emotional, behavioral, and mental disorders. Our clients are dealing with stress, grief, addiction, depression, or conflict. The Clinical Therapist will also work with patients with higher-acuity disorders, such as Anxiety, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, or Borderline Personality Disorder.

Other responsibilities include:

• Counseling sessions include one-to-one, group therapy, or sessions involving family members.

• Observes the client to detect indications of abnormal physical or mental behavior
• Selects and administers various tests, such as psychological tests, personality inventories, and intelligence quotient tests
• Plans and administers treatment
• Crisis Intervention
• Documentation in clients’ charts
• Discuss progress toward clients’ goals
• Other duties are assigned as the need arises and according to the programmatic need.

This Mental Health Therapist position is versatile, and the duties may change from day to day, so the ability to prioritize job functions is vital! The ideal Mental Health Therapist candidate must have the following:

• Valid AMFT/LMFT or ACSW/LCSW license
• Master’s Degree
• Current certification in CPR

Bonus skills for the Mental Health Therapist position are:

• Experience in primary mental health and dual diagnosis residential treatment facility preferred
• CBT and evidence-based experience are a plus
• Experience with trauma and eating disorders preferred
