The Barber National Institute Pre-K Counts preschool program is part of a statewide initiative to provide a high-quality preschool experience free of charge for children of qualifying families.
Join a team of highly qualified teachers and help to facilitate the development of knowledge and skills required to enter kindergarten. Under the guidance of the PKC Teacher, the PKC Teacher Assistant will assist in implementing educational activity plans for enrolled children.
The incumbent of this role will be responsible for supporting the PKC Teacher in the delivery of planned learning activities, maintaining the classroom, assisting with personal hygiene and meal cleanup, and preparing materials for instruction. This position will also be responsible for data entry and creating documents, signs and labels as needed.
