JOB SUMMARY

The Account Manager is responsible for identifying, introducing, developing, and nurturing business relationships with companies and individuals within their designated territory. The goal is to generate and maximize revenue for the company as well as retain and grow key accounts. The position collaborates with various departments throughout the organization to develop strategic ways to provide a positive client experience and proactively seek out opportunities to increase revenue.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop, plan, and organize sales strategies to achieve desired revenue targets.
• Develop a networking list of potential clients and consistently contact them through phone, email, and visits.
• Penetrate at the strategic level to diversify the client base to include industrial, traditional, and nontraditional accounts.
• Serve as the company “expert” on each assigned account and serve as liaison to facilitate all efforts to provide a positive customer experience.
• Create value with safety initiatives in alignment with clients and MYCON.
• Prepares and presents approved contracts/lease agreements to assigned accounts and effectively communicates to MYCON staff.
• Prepares sales plans, expenses, daily calls, and sales reports.
• Maintains records of sales or other business transactions.

• Expert knowledge of construction equipment and the rental industry.
• Expert knowledge of selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales.
• Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long-term business relationships.
• Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Driven and results-oriented; business development, KPIs, and market expansion to meet corporate targets.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments and various levels of the organization

• Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization and customer operations.
