Jaguar Palm Beach is seeking to add an experienced Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk to their team. We are looking for someone who is positive, hard-working, and a team player. If you are any of these things, then this may be the position for you!

This person must have some Automotive dealership experience as we need someone who understands the industry and systems we work with. More specifically, CDK/EIV experience is also preferred.

*Salary based on experience*

GENERAL PURPOSE: Post and pay all invoices, reconcile payable statements for all dealerships, maintain catalog of all vendor W-9s, resale certificates and Certificates of Liability insurance. Ensure that all invoices are properly coded, posted, and prepared timely to meet payment deadlines and reconcile statements, post, and log all wholesale and dealer trades, track all chargebacks.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCIES):

• Automotive dealership experience required.
• Experience with CDK automotive accounting software, MS software applications and multi-line dealership experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP.)
• Perform standard office duties such as filing, faxing, computer skills and 10-key by touch skills.
• Adept skills to effectively and professionally communicate with internal and external customers including vendors, managers, and all other company employees.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Positive attitude.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (REQUIREMENTS):

• Post, file and reconcile vendor and manufacturer invoices and statements.
• Post, process, and remit payments for monthly expenses.
• Process and remit vendor payments in a timely manner.
• Maintain and reconcile schedules.
• Update, maintain and log vendor W-9s, Resale Certificates and Certificates of Liability.
• Perform chargebacks for sold units and record on appropriate logs.
• Perform basic and routine accounting functions.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager and / or Department Head.
• Follow all established company and department policies and procedures.
• Acceptable attendance is mandatory.
• Must be able to meet productivity expectations set by Manager and / or Department Head.
• Must be able to work all scheduled hours, including overtime and weekends, if necessary.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks with favorable results.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
