About the role
The Consultant, Internal Operations is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations in offices and partner in driving KPIs through analytics and modernization efforts. The role of the Consultant will drive the development of operational excellence by leading cross-functional scalable projects and process improvement initiatives. They are responsible for understanding business challenges, translating opportunities into scalable, sustainable solutions, and bringing value to the organization with the goal of improving the associate and patient experience. Responsible for the continuous improvement of efficiencies, quality in processes by finding new and alternative ways to meet and exceed performance goals.

Internal Operations is the hub of all departments and supports the field voice through open communication, scalable plans and focused priorities that result in consistent best practices across the organization. This role will report to the Manager, Internal Operations.

This is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of either our Raleigh, NC or Vienna, VA offices.

You Will

  • Drive strategic projects, identify appropriate resources, and enable cross-functional teams to achieve field initiatives.
  • Proficiency with communication across diverse audiences up to and including Senior Leadership.
  • Acts as field advocate for processes, metrics, measurements, and tools developed for management of the business.
  • Collaborate in identifying unmet or under-served needs of the company while driving best practices and improvement initiatives with the leadership team.
  • Regularly partner with field leadership and senior management as needed on strategy, planning and operational execution.
  • Collaborate with other coworkers on solutions for internal (associate) and external (patient) experience.
  • Support the development of projects through collaborative planning and ensure successful implementation.
  • Increase the effectiveness and productivity of MyEyeDr. by bringing clarity and strategy to action plans and field partnerships.
  • Ensure information is shared in a manner that is conducive to the working environment and strategic goals of the departments.
  • Act as a liaison between business partners and stakeholders to ensure services deliver value to the organization.
  • Organize information through process mapping, flow-charting, and workshops.
  • Recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities for cost-effective alignment and organizational effectiveness.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred or equivalent experience required.
  • Previous MyEyeDr. experience preferred.
  • 2 years of previous experience in operations required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
  • Travel up to 25% of the time may be required.
