We are looking for a Application Developer, Salesforce to support our Technology Business Services team. The OpportunityThe Application Developer, Salesforce provides internally-developed and third-party software solutions primarily in the Salesforce platform to meet our needs. You will manage technical aspects of assigned projects, including planning, resolving issues and work independently to convert our requirements to Technical Design Specs and design/write code for enterprise-wide and other projects. You will report to a CRM Application Development Team Leader. The Day-to-Day
Manage technical development of software, primarily Salesforce, from inception through user acceptance, including projects which affect one or more departments or pose medium risk situations
Design steps and modules, meet timelines, identify and resolve issues
Provide expertise and develop solutions using configuration and custom code in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Financial Service Cloud
Develop solutions, primarily in Salesforce.com using either Lightning Component Development or Classic UI, Apex Classes/Triggers, Visualforce Pages, Salesforce Workflow, SOQL, SOSL and Force.com API
Use design skills to contribute to Technical Design Specifications for projects and create logic flow charts and process diagrams
Create and modify code to meet specifications. Test and debug work
Support production software operations during normal business and off-hours
Contribute to team discussions
Troubleshoot and resolve client issues. May be responsible for client support to an entire business unit
Research external software solutions
Your Qualifications
3 years experience as a Salesforce Developer
Develop software for enterprise environment
Work with object-oriented programming languages (OOP) and relational databases and applying it in various applications, including within the Salesforce platform
Architect and deliver custom code on multiple large-scale implementations
Contribute to the roadmap, setting direction and promotion of solutions across environments in the Salesforce platform
1 year experience in Community/Experience cloud
Experience with Enterprise applications development, design skills and applicable software development language(s)
Plan work of self and others and resolve technical and other problems
Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, other science field required; advanced degree in a related field
