We are currently looking for a Claims Quality Assurance Specialist. This role will be a remote based opportunity.
The Impact You Will HaveThe Claims Quality Assurance Specialist Will Specialize In Short Tail Lines To Include Corporate Property And/or Marine Lines Of Business. In Addition, The Claims QA Specialist Will
- Support each of those claim's segments by reviewing claim files, providing feedback to line managers to improve overall claims department file quality, and overall results to claim's senior leadership.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for short tail lines including analyzing trends, identifying opportunity areas, and developing action plans to address concerns.
- Claims Strategy and Handling
- Establishment and Maintenance of Claims Quality Assurance Review process for designated line of business within the Region.
- Assist with the execution of local Claims strategy for designated line of business within the Region.
- Collaborate with Claim's Management, claims legal and claims product teams to develop strategies and business plans to reduce claims costs/expenses.
- Claims Targets
- Assist with driving the achievement of financial targets (e.g. full combined ration) and contribute to annual target setting for Claims.
- Responsible for providing Claims Quality Assurance Team Leader and Claim's Leadership with regular updates regarding Quality Assurance metrics and trends.
- Seek guidance from Regional Head of Claims on issues that impact the Region and the Company.
- Claims Approach and Compliance
- Ensure claim handling consistency and discipline through management of the claims file review process in accordance with corporate and local claims guidelines.
- Support Claims Leadership Team through regular reporting of quality assurance results and trends.
- Regularly evaluate Quality Assurance Review program to ensure focus on strategic business objectives.
- Referrals and Compliance
- Ensure all claims handled within authority limits and in line with AGCS Claims Procedures and guidelines.
- Undertake audits of internal adjusters. Coordinate resources to respond to internal and external auditor requests. Respond to regulatory data reporting requests as appropriate.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 11 years of short tail claim handling experience in Corporate Property and/or Marine lines of business.
