Job Role: Computer Systems Engineer (Ref 760)
Location: New York City, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
You AreMaster of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science or Computer/Management Information Systems plus two (2) years of experience as Software Developer, Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, or related position. Alternatively, Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications/Applied Computer Science or Computer/Management Information Systems plus five (5) years of experience as Software Developer, Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, or related position. Foreign educational equivalent accepted.
Your ResponsibilitiesEngineer solutions to cloud-based native computer application problems by analyzing existing computer systems, applications and user requirements; map conceptual business needs and requirements into practical system capabilities, and establish functional specifications; prepare resilient and scalable solution design/architecture and use-case high as well as low-level design document (HLD and LLD); develop customizations to add-on modules to applications and generate builds using CI/CD frameworks; develop back-end/front-end engines for index calculations; create test driven development (TDD) and behavior driven development (BDD) covering low-level architecture details; conduct change and impact analysis, provide production support, and address performance optimization scalability issues; participate in daily stand-ups and weekly retrospective meetings using Agile methodologies; support UAT, defect reviews and follow-ups and test developed applications for bugs and issues; and automate application builds and generate deployable files.
