Location: Charlotte, NC Salary: $36.05 - $40.86/hr This position will require a background in Data Center facilities support to provide assistance in developing process documentation for maintenance and project related work being performed within Duke Energy's critical environments. The primary focus of this position will center on managing the Change Management and Change Control process utilized for communicating risk associated with this work and tracking approval and scheduling information and assist the regional Chief with work coordination and other tasks as needed. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Task Will Include But Not Be Limited To
Oversee the Change Control Ticket Request (CCTR) process (account Change Management Program). This includes the following: creating requests for Facility Management Changes and developing all appropriate documentation, tracking approvals and ensuring the distribution lists are up to date for the respective region, and obtaining “day of work” approvals for Facility Management CCTR submissions.
Working with Facilities and Project Teams to document detailed standard operating procedures to be utilized in the completion of work being performed on MEP infrastructure supporting critical environments. This will include performing site walks with appropriate FM and Project personnel, participating in project meetings, and participating in client project review meetings
Develop risk profiles to be provided to client representatives to explain potential impacts of the work
Assist Chief Engineer with developing and managing work schedules for the regional Critical Environments Engineering Team
Assist in coordinating vendor scheduled tasks associated with work approved through the CCTR process and communicate task schedules to all parties concerned.
Must interface with Facilities Operations and business unit managers as appropriate to coordinate Critical Area Program. This will include but not be limited to; scheduling maintenance windows in Change Management, participating in staff
