How Will You Make An ImpactThe Director Strategy & NPI Project Management - Laboratory Equipment (LE) will holistically work across LE's business to develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy and lead the Project Management Organization (PMO) to drive the on time and on budget execution of LE's NPIs to drive greater customer value, product differentiation, and enable growth.
What Will You Do
  • Report to the Vice President & General Manger Growth, Protection & Separation, collaborating with the LE leadership team to drive outcomes on key business results and impactful new product introductions.
  • Be responsible for the LE PMO.
  • Lead the formal strategy planning (STRAP) process for LE, including coordinating input and analysis of possible initiatives and development of proposals in partnership with business leaders and R&D.
  • Analyze the competitive space, consider impacts on strategic positioning, disruption opportunities, and improvement opportunities.
  • Create standard work to gain alignment with key partners inclusive of group, division businesses, R&D and operations management.
  • Ensure the portfolio of programs meet scope, timeline, budget, resources levels, revenue commitments goals for strategic projects.
  • Mentor and coach key collaborators to drive execution of strategies in order to realize measurable improvements in performance and growth.
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Business. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience
  • 7 years in leading strategic business planning, product management or business development. Business leadership experience a plus.
  • Experienced in project management and cross functional leadership.
  • A get-it-done personality, with strong interpersonal skills, connecting across teams and functions and positively influence all levels of the organization, business units, cultures and geographies.
  • Strong financial understanding with the ability to communicate complex business issues/content to leadership at varying levels.
  • Able to drive critical, strategic thought processes and continuous improvement to lead change in sophisticated, global environment.
