What This Job InvolvesThe Maintenance Engineer has wide ranging responsibilities for the electrical and mechanical systems at the assigned
buildings; including but not limited to the following:
- Performs service requests, ensuring that work is executed professionally, efficiently and with minimum amount of disruption to the client.
- Completes general maintenance tasks that include but are not limited to: painting, plumbing repairs, change light bulbs / ballasts, hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems as assigned.
- Responds effectively to emergencies and support after-hours building related activity as requested.
- Troubleshoots system and equipment failures.
- Complies with policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintains records for work completed in a neat and organized manner.
- Maintains machinery, equipment and tools in working order.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Performs other maintenance duties as assigned.
