Regional Sales Director - Service South
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization. The work model for the role is: This role is contributing to the Motion – Service. You will be mainly accountable for: • Implement Channel sales strategy within the assigned sales territory and manage results from assigned channel sales targets, plans and KPI’s (Key Performance Indicator). • Understand ABB Channels’ go-to-market strategy and implement enablement plans that help channel partners achieve their sales targets and plans. • Implement business plans that lower channel servicing cost and increase speed, efficiency, and end-user experience. • Provide ABB Motion leadership team feedback and ideas on continuous improvement projects that improve channels’ results with greater efficiency. Be an internal/external advocate for channel community. Qualifications For The Role
  • Bachelor’s degree required in STEM or Business Administration field with 8 years of relevant experience, OR Associate Degree with 10 years of relevant experience OR high school diploma/GED with 12 years of relevant experience; 5 years sales experience within a complex industrial distribution business environment preferred
  • Advance Degree a plus
  • Sales and application background in Drives/Motors in the Industrial space, and Product and market knowledge in Drive/Motor Services preferred.
  • Experience in the management of both transactional and recurring revenue offerings.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft office platform; familiar with Salesforce CRM or similar
  • Travel >50% within region.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
