As a Senior Business Analyst you will be working in one of the world's largest and most complex data warehouse environments. You'll employ data analysis to ensure your partners and leaders have the most up to date, reliable information, working collaboratively to make the best possible roadmap decisions. You'll make a huge impact, not just on the bottom line performance of the network, but on the overall customer experience, making history whilst having fun along the way! You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions, and to build data sets that answer those questions. We are looking innovators to be a sophisticated user of data querying tools, and an expert at synthesizing and communicating insights and recommendations to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication.
Above all, you should be passionate about bringing large datasets together to answer business questions and drive change. Being curious, detail oriented, and comfortable finding information and performing tasks that haven't been done before will be the norm.

Basic Qualifications
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key Responsibilities Include
- Develop a deep understanding of Amazon's Middle Mile operations and supply chain.
- Deep dive into large data sets to answer key business questions using SQL, Excel, and other data manipulation languages.
- Perform complex data research to identify opportunities to improve delivery speeds as well as improve efficiencies and customer experience in supporting business decision making.
- Systematically identify data sources and perform analysis to influence product roadmaps based on business problems.
- Perform/own reoccurring and ad-hoc business intelligence projects.
- Communicate complex insights to stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- MBA
