Ferguson is currently seeking a Shipping Manager to join our Fort Myers, FL Branch team!
Responsibilities
- Responsible to assist 15 drivers loading trucks for 1st and 2nd runs potentially in temperamental elements
- Ensure warehouse space is used effectively and kept clean and orderly
- Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training, and providing professional development for all of its associates
- Supervise, coordinate, and participate in unloading and stocking of inbound shipments and the picking and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork
- Ensure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed daily
- Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch management
- Responsible for assisting warehouse associates with picking process
- A strong background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred
- 3 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience
- A Material Handling Equipment Certification is also recommended
- Proficient in OSHA and DOT regulations
- Warehouse Management Systems, Highjump, Dispatch Track software experience preferred but willing to teach the right candidate
- Proficient with all Microsoft Applications required
- A strong attention to detail, leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines
- Phenomenal communication skills and the ability and desire to manage a team
Pay Range$4,124.70 - $9,075.00
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
