MyHealth Urgent Care-Shelby is looking to hire a Full Time Medical Assistant.

Duties include but are not limited to greeting and registering patients, answering phones, verifying insurance, and collecting co-pays.

Rooming the patient, vitals, testing, preparing specimens, EKG, x-ray, blood draw, injections. The Medical Assistant assists in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the provider.

The weekly schedule consists of 3 12-hour shifts and rotating weekend / holiday availability.

Experience :

• Medical Assistant : 2 years (Preferred)
• Vital signs : 2 years (Preferred)

License / Certification :

• BLS Certification (Required)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
