Mechanical Assembler
Max Pay : $19.00 / hour
Location : Tewksbury, MA
Temp to hire
Schedule : M-F (8hr days) working to confirm the schedule!
Assembly Worker
POSITION SUMMARY : Performs repetitive mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
- Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.
- Receives components or items for assembly and / or test in programmed sequence.
- Assembles and / or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
- May assemble minor variations of in-house standard products. Follows clear assembly / test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc thermal welding and thread taping.
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
- Completes required documentation related to production.
- Reads and understands simple layout and assembly drawings.
- Maintains equipment and area in clean safe condition.
