What’s a typical day as a CNC Mill Setup and Operator? You’ll be :

• Planning machining operations by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.
• Setting up tools and fixtures, making offsets and compensations, and modifying G-code.
• Calculating requirements using basic math skills.
• Ensuring the production plan is executed and met.
• Tracking all work in process within the department and ensuring all materials are identified and traceable.
• Providing assistance to employees regarding machine setup, operation, and malfunctions.
• Documenting actions and contributing to the accomplishment of organizational goals.
