Kelly has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join a thriving family owned and operated company based out of Vernon Hills, IL .

This is an in-office travel Direct Hire opportunity with a starting salary of $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience, a bonus structure, and a comprehensive benefits program.

In this position you will play a critical role as a trusted advisor driving sales with existing customers while developing a profitable new client base.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Identify, qualify, and capture new sales opportunities utilizing web searches, social media, networking, and creativity
• Conduct both warm and cold calling to prospective customer base
• Attend and exhibit at industrial trade shows to develop new customer relationships
• Visit customers in-person to present company as a potential supplier with a focus on project fits
• Manage customer inquiries and quote requests with accuracy and urgency
• Partner with internal resources to ensure alignment on both pricing and technical specifications
• Manage and take complete ownership of the end-to-end sales process
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
• Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate records of sales activities including customer interactions, sales pipeline, and order status
• Prepare sales reports and updates as needed for leadership team

Skills and Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience required. Mechanical / Electrical / Hydraulic Engineering experience or education is a big plus!
• Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in B2B sales / marketing highly preferred
• Ability to travel 50% of the time. Valid driver’s license required
• Successful inside sales experience in a customer facing role with a strong preference for the industrial or manufacturing sector.

• Proficient technical aptitude and the ability to learn a wide variety of products and applications
• High-level customer relationship skills with strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset
• Knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Salesforce experience or a similar CRM software experience is highly preferred
