Job Title : Manufacturing Technician I

Job Summary :

We are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician I - Procession Technician to join Luxium Solutions in Newbury location.

As a Procession Technician in the Casting Department, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the smooth operation of various tasks such as washing glass, cleaning bars, building molds, running VT column, running reactors, and measuring and inspecting cast sheets.

This is a team-oriented environment with the potential for lone worker responsibilities on the 3rd shift. If you have prior experience in a manufacturing environment, strong mathematical reasoning skills, and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team, we encourage you to apply.

Job Specifications :

• Job Type : Full-time
• Company : Luxium Solutions
• Location : Newbury
• Pay Rate : $17.25 / hour
• Shift : 2nd shift (2pm-10 : 30pm) or 3rd shift (10pm-6 : 30am)

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Wash glass and clean bars to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Build molds and break down molds as per the manufacturing process requirements
• Operate VT column and reactors efficiently and effectively
• Measure and inspect cast sheets to ensure quality control standards are met
• Potentially work independently on the 3rd shift

Qualifications & Skills :

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mathematical reasoning skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of numbers, decimals, fractions, and metric conversions
• Basic PC skills
• Preferred : Experience interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, work instructions, manuals, procedures, specifications, charts, and Material Safety Data Sheets
• Must wear steel-toed shoes for safety purposes
