To assist with digital content production, including but not limited to video, live streaming, social media and graphic design, across the MyRadar digital platforms (app, website, social media, etc).

Duties and expectations:

Edit video content for MyRadar app and social media platforms in a timely manner

Develop enterprise content (including promotional/marketing content) for app, website and social media platforms with Director of Video & Social Media Content

Demonstrate a flair for crafting visually compelling and consistent MyRadar design assets aligning with and following brand guidelines for promotional and marketing use

Stay informed of the latest trends on major social media platforms and understand the nuances of content consumption and engagement behaviors across different platforms

Assist with sourcing compelling video content from social media platforms and contribute to the creation of engaging design assets

Demonstrate flexibility in content creation styles, recognizing the distinct features of each platform (social media, website, etc.) and adjusting the approach to maximize engagement and impact

Video Editor is expected to be proficient with all software/hardware used by MyRadar media team, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in both editing and design asset creation (including but not limited to Adobe Creative Cloud & live streaming tools such as OBS and all hardware pertaining to live production)

Assist as-needed for projects “in the field” and “after hours/on-call” as deemed by the Director of Video & Social Media Content (including holidays and weekends, weather permitting)

In the event of a large-scale weather event (as deemed by the Director of Video & Social Media Content), even on short notice, Video Editor will need to be present for live streaming within the app and social platforms (including holidays and weekends)

In the event of hiring a freelancer, the Video Editor is expected to train/prepare freelancer for any work pertaining to MyRadar (this includes video/image editing, streaming software, studio equipment)
