Myrick Recruiting, LLC is Hiring a Business Development Specialist Near Orleans, LA

Myrick Recruiting, LLC is seeking a Business Development Specialist professional for an established industrial distributor for the New Orleans and surrounding area. The primary function is to create long-term value through building mutually beneficial relationships influencing loyalty within the transportation, industrial/Manufacturing, and fleet sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research via all available methods to gain knowledge and direction for the market.
  • Use CRM to log each interaction with all contacts and understand all past, present, and future construction projects in the sector.
  • Develop a business plan and outline goals annually.
  • Work with marketing department to develop and implement vertical market specific collateral as well as event planning to include dinners, sponsorships, and other requests as necessary.
  • Participate in industry related organizations (board memberships, meetings, events)
  • Collaborate and communicate with the sales team to develop and maintain key account and partner relationships.
  • Discuss and review opportunities with the engineering, product management, and new product development teams ·

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years related experience in a sale capacity.
  • Previous sales experience in the Automotive or OEM sectors
  • Previous sales presentation experience
  • CRM experience
