Job Summary: Supervises the verification of cash and revenue for gaming operations in compliance with regulations, policies, procedures, and high guest service standards. Assists in solving more complex audit problems.
Primary Duties:
Primary Duties:
- Recruits, interviews, selects, hires, promotes, motivates, and directs team members. This includes team member training, development, and discipline. Completes performance appraisals on direct reports.
- Supervises the accurate and timely completion of all gaming-related audits and income journals.
- Verifies and investigates variances under specified amounts. Variances include misallocation of transactions from Bingo and Pull Tabs.
- Creates weekly schedules and assigns tasks to accommodate workflow.
- Reviews the activities and operations of the Casino Audit department with the manager. Recommends procedural changes for the department.
- Maintains knowledge of the company's policies, procedures, and system of Internal Control.
- Provides information to other departments, as requested.
- Provides information and documentation to the Gaming Commission, as requested.
- Completes month-end audits including the integration of all income journals in a timely manner for Corporate Finance. Balances and researches any variances or discrepancies in the Bingo, Pull Tab, and Coupon reconcile on a monthly basis.
- Completes inventories of controlled items on a monthly basis. Reconciles and researches any variances or discrepancies.
- Organizes and prepares boxed audits to be shipped to the Records Center on a weekly basis.
- Completes daily duties including running the gaming numbers, Blackjack estimated versus actual drop, all daily ticket liability reports, and sending reports off to executives and directors. Verifies all audits and ensures they are completed correctly and the journals are allocating funds properly. Imports all drops including cash, coin, TITO, and Blackjack. Completes weekly payroll for approval by manager.
- Covers daily audit in the event of call-ins or PTO.
