Position: Business Development Representative - Outbound Calls
Location: Aurora, OH
Overview: Mytee Products is seeking a proactive and results-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Development Representative specializing in outbound calls. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a persuasive demeanor, and a drive to generate leads and cultivate relationships with potential customers through outbound calling initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation:
o Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce Mytee Products offerings, identify their needs, and qualify leads for the sales team.
o Research and prospect for new business opportunities, utilizing databases, industry directories, and other sources to identify potential customers in the truck and trailer parts market.
o Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, updating CRM systems with accurate and up-to-date information on prospects and interactions.
2. Relationship Building:
o Establish rapport and develop relationships with prospects through effective
communication and active listening skills.
o Educate potential customers about Mytee Products products, services, and value
proposition, emphasizing the benefits and advantages of choosing us as their supplier.
o Address inquiries, objections, and concerns from prospects, providing information
and assistance to overcome barriers and close sales opportunities.
3. Sales Support:
o Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate follow-up activities, schedule appointments, and facilitate product demonstrations or presentations for qualified leads.
o Provide ongoing support to the sales team by gathering market intelligence, identifying trends, and sharing feedback from prospect interactions.
o Assist in the development of sales collateral, presentations, and proposals to support business development efforts.
4. Performance Tracking:
o Track and report on key performance metrics related to outbound calling activities, including call volume, conversion rates, and lead quality.
o Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and optimize outbound calling strategies for maximum effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or business development roles
preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with a confident and persuasive phone manner.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with
prospects.
Results-driven mindset, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and
objectives.
Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel,
Outlook).
Knowledge of the trucking or transportation industry is a plus, but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
