Job Summary:
MBK Real Estate is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Director of Human Resources (CDHR) to join our HR Senior leadership team. The CDHR will act as a strategic business partner across all MBK divisions, ensuring HR services, policies, and compliance align with company goals. This role involves building relationships with Home Office leaders and teams, serving as an advisor to the management team, and driving continuous improvement in HR services, programs, and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the SVP of HR and Home Office leaders to implement initiatives that automate and streamline core HR services and processes, reduce inefficiencies, and ensure compliance.
- Lead the implementation and administration/communication of changes in HR programs and policies.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of federal and state laws (DOL, DFEH, EEOC, FLSA) to guide employees.
- Develop HR analytics and metrics to aid decision-making, goal attainment, and business outcomes.
- Support performance management review processes.
- Analyze data and prepare reports for management.
- Collaborate with HR team leaders on selection, reporting, auditing, worker’s compensation insurance, legal matters, and ad hoc reporting for quarterly and annual audits.
- Serve as the HR representative to the HR team.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with all organizational levels.
- Self-motivated and customer-focused.
- Strong people skills with the ability to build and lead a team.
- Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with scaling an HR function or managing large-scale (1000 employees) HR systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Expert-level knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
- Current knowledge of employment law and industry regulatory compliance requirements.
- Five or more years of human resources experience at a management level.
- Experience managing HR for a population of 1000 employees.
