Accounts Payable Clerk

Brief description

This position reports directly to the Mytosynth Nutrascuticals LLC Controller and will be responsible for entering data, participation in monthly closes, and support preparing financial reports to determine or maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.

Tasks

· Verify accuracy of billing data, appropriately resolve any errors, and timely enter data.

· Prepare weekly payables run by pulling aging report and all supporting documentation for management review.

· Prepare approved check payments for signature by printing checks and orderly preparing the documentation to facilitate an efficient review and signature of checks.

· Research and answers from vendor inquiries.

· Assists in monthly closings.

· Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary.

· Keep management informed of area/department performance and raise any significant problems

· Ensure that the work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

· Education: Highschool Degree or Equivalent

· Experience: 2-5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Ability to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions

· Proficient in Excell and ERP Systems

· Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

· Ability to work independently and as a team member to resolve various issues that may occur

Position Details

· Full-Time bonus eligible position

· Salaried / Exempt (not eligible for overtime)
