N2S.Global is Hiring a Project Manager- Cyber Security Near Las Vegas, NV

Job Title: Cyber Security Project Manager

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Las Vegas, NV Remote role

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support Cyber Security strategies and programs aligned with the organization's overall objectives.
  • Develop project plans for medium and large-sized projects based on defined high-level priorities and business requirements.
  • Manage project budgets, scope, and schedules.
  • Identify and document changes to the original project scope and communicate these to stakeholders.
  • Validate project deliverables against scope and quality expectations, and participate in project stage-gates, including post-mortems or wrap-ups, identifying opportunities for execution and process improvement.
  • Identify and manage project issues and risks throughout the project lifecycle, developing action and contingency plans as needed.
  • Make recommendations regarding policies, standards, and guidelines, and assist in creating Cyber Security standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Create and maintain process flow diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with business standards and procedures by analyzing and measuring against current processes.
  • Assist in closing out audit items and continuously monitor risk assessment plans.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications and Physical/Mental Requirements:

Specific Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience managing Security and/or Technical projects, including large programs with multiple subcontractors.
  • Experience with IT or Cyber Security-related technologies and large enterprise implementations is desired.
  • Experience with project scheduling and budgeting.
  • IT or Cyber Security-related education and/or certifications preferred.
  • Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) or other program management certification desired.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplined project teams through a project lifecycle (planning-development-implementation-closeout).
  • Knowledge of project funding packages, detailed project plans, project risk identification, and mitigating strategies.
  • Proficient in developing and presenting project-related material at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to demonstrate field presence during project planning and installation phases.
  • Experience with Agile project execution, DevSecOps toolsets, and understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and Modern Delivery is a plus.
  • Experience with Jira Project Administrator, including creating projects, Kanban and Scrum Boards, setting up sprints, and creating reports, is a plus.
