Position: RN Clinical Coordinator- Neuro Location: Westminster, CO Job Type: Permanent Shift/Hours: Nights, 6:00 PM-6:30 AM Job Description: As an RN Clinical Coordinator specializing in Neurology, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating clinical and department activities for our unit. This position involves acting as a liaison between physicians and the patient care team, ensuring high-quality care delivery, and promoting the optimal health and safety of our patients. Responsibilities: Coordinate clinical and department activities for the Neurology unit, including shift charge responsibilities. Ensure that care is delivered to each patient in accordance with quality standards and guidelines. Act as a liaison between physicians and the patient care team, maintaining communication and promoting cooperation. Supervise and mentor staff, providing coaching and performance management as needed. Promote relationship-based care and uphold organizational mission and core values. Utilize the nursing process to provide optimal care to patients, adhering to patient care standards and guidelines. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of clinical RN experience. 1 year of leadership experience preferred. Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred. RN License to practice in the state of employment. BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire or internal transfer. Nursing Specialty Certification related to Neurology strongly preferred.
