N2Y is Hiring a Seasonal Accounting Assistant Near Huron, OH
Under the supervision of our staff, the Part Time, Seasonal Accounting Assistant can expect to assist with administrative tasks within the accounting department. The Accounting Assistant should be a motivated team player who can maintain efficiency and accuracy when multitasking.
This will be a part-time role based in our Huron, OH office that will require 15-30 hours a week. Preferred timeline is July through October.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up mail from PO Box and open at Huron office
- Use scanner to record documents and send to their respective departments
- Receive incoming checks into accounting system
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies
- Process deposit
- Deposit checks at the bank, as needed
- Assist with order processing, as needed
- Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records by renaming checks
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Previous administrative and accounting experience preferred
- Must have advanced skills in Excel
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
