Olsten Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Maintenance Technician for the Effingham area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, with a focus on ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on a variety of machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and follow maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose problems accurately and implement effective solutions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a machine maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including wiring, controls, and PLCs.
• Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems and their components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
