POSITION TITLE : Human Resources, Talent Acquisition Specialist SUPERVISOR : Director of People and Culture, Advisory & Operations DATE EFFECTIVE: June 1, 2023 DATE REVISED: June 1, 2023 LOCATION: Baltimore, MD TRAVEL: JOB CLASSIFICATION: JOB LEVEL: POSITION SUMMARY The NAACP is seeking a Human Resources, Talent Acquisition Specialist who is a highly organized, collaborative and effective leader. The Human Resources, Talent Acquisition Specialist will create a strong talent pipeline for the Association's current and future hiring needs by sourcing candidates, managing logistics, and coordinating candidate interviews and selection procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Oversee the full life cycle of recruitment, workforce strategy development, and implementation;
Cultivate trusting relationships with hiring managers and potential hires;
Manage external vendor contracts for recruitment services and establish service-level agreements;
Collaborate with leaders and managers across the Association to align and integrate the Association's goals and objectives;
Host career recruiting events, including careers fairs;
Create and manage talent pipelines to meet future workforce needs;
Develop and implement procedures to identify job needs, recruitment strategies, interview processes and selection criteria;
Integrate short and long-term strategic goals for expanding recruitment, internships, flexible hiring and other innovative partnerships;
Attract global talent to support the Association's mission of expanding equity, diversity and inclusion;
Consistently improve talent acquisition policies, procedures and metrics;
Mobilize employer branding initiatives in collaboration with the Director of People and Culture and Talent Management;
Document processes, policies, and procedures to establish a repository of institutional knowledge across the HR department and the Association; and
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Vice President, Director of People and Culture, or other designees.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent;
2-5 years of experience supporting hiring managers with a proactive recruitment partnership approach preferred;
Experience implementing equity, diversity, inclusive recruitment and selection practices preferred;
Knowledge and experience working with ADP or other applicant tracking systems;
Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks;
