JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The HR Intern is responsible for the administration and implementation of Human Resource programs and activities.
•Process new hires, change of status, and terminations including submitting requests for new positions and/or changes to existing positions.
•Perform customer service functions by answering employee questions and requests in a prompt and professional manner.
•Assist in Talent Management System
•Maintain up-to-date and organized personnel files within the electronic systems and databases.
•Make photocopies; mail, scan and email documents; and perform other clerical functions.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
•Pursuing university studies towards bachelor's degree
•Must be proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and skilled in a windows based HRIS.
•Must be extremely organized and have the ability to establish and adhere to priorities.
•Work independently, multi-task, and proceed with objectives/projects with little or no supervision.
•Self-starter with strong desire to accomplish assignments in an accurate and timely manner.
•Must possess the ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality.
•Must have the ability to create, read, analyze and interpret common reports.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
•Computer skills required - job entails working with several software applications.
•Good written and verbal communication skills required.
•Proven ethics, professionalism and discretion.
•This position operates in a professional office environment where you will required to utilize standard office equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
The primary location for this position is an office environment.
•Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
•Rig yard trips may be expected from time to time.
•10% travel to rig yards and field.
