Overview:
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Bartender in a casual dining restaurant
- Knowledge and passion for craft beer, liquor, cocktails, etc.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and cash-handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Square POS, is a plus
- Understanding of retail math for inventory management
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to food-handling guidelines
- Competitive pay plus tips
- TABC Certification is a plus
