NACM Connect provides services and information to assist credit professionals in all facets of their work activities, including credit groups, credit reports, credit references, credit application processing, collections services, credit law, and more. In addition, NACM Connect educates its members in credit, collections and related matters while working toward the continuing professionalization of the credit management field. We are an Affiliate of the National Association of Credit Management.
Position Summary:
The Accounting Administrator will fill a key role within the Accounting group. The position will support various Finance and Accounting functions for multi-million-dollar company and subsidiaries. Responsible for providing daily, month end and year end accounting and clerical support to Accounting Department personnel, ensuring that transactions are in accordance with GAAP and internal policies and procedures. Also responsible for maintaining membership and accounting database files.
Key Responsibilities:
MONTHLY GENERAL ACCOUNTING FUNCTIONS
A. Cash application
· Process Credit Cards
· ACH Payments
· Open, sort, and apply checks
· Scan checks to the bank
· File checks & cash receipts journals
B. Invoicing
· Educational Events
· Membership- Regular & Group New memberships
· Group meetings
· Credit report contracts
· Membership Renewals
C. Accounts Payable (as back-up)
· Code & approve invoices
· Create check requests monthly
· Print aging report for payment approval
· Print & mail checks or e-mail ACH notification
ACCOUNTING:
A. Aid in closing the Associations/Service Corporations/Staffing as directed
· Local & National Group Meeting Journal Entry
Print copies of expense report for each group meeting
Compare expense and revenue billed to the g/l detail
OTHER:
A. Membership database management in CMS.
B. Membership: cancellations/changes/new members
C. Monthly Membership Report
D. Membership: Monthly Retention Percentages
· Using the renewal list compare the number of members who have paid their membership dues with those unpaid or cancelled.
· Prepare a chart and a graph showing monthly & YTD retention percentages.
E. Special Projects as directed.
MISCELLANEOUS:
A. Other duties and projects as assigned.
B. Management may modify job descriptions and responsibilities when necessary.

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to use hand and fingers, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand and talk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
