Position SummaryThe Peer Recovery Specialist (CRPA) will provide strengths-based guidance and substance use recovery supports to clients to motivate and assist them with making a decision to engage in treatment. The Peer Recovery Specialist will help clients resolve barriers to achieving self-sufficiency. The Peer Recovery Specialist will work with women in the community to support our Maternal Health Program by providing recovery supports to pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorder (SUD).
Education Required: Associate Degree or certification equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred1 Year experience required. Experience working with pregnant or post-partum women highly preferred.License Required: CRPA - NYSCertificate Required: CRPA - NYS
Salary: $45,000/year
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 remote days
