- Work closely with teammates and clients in design sessions to translate user requirements into system requirement specifications.
- Write test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
- Perform unit testing, functional requirements testing, and regression testing for sprint releases.
- Identify and prepare test data in support of test activities.
- Analyze, report, and track defects found during testing.
- Track and communicate project testing status to key stakeholders throughout the development process.
- Use best practices to test and deploy changes from staging environments to production.
- Ensure delivery of code and systems meets performance, operational readiness, and other non-functional requirements.
- 1-2 years testing experience
- Knowledge of the Agile development process
- Proficient in use of JIRA for requirements and defect management
- Experience writing and executing SQL queries
- Experience reading and editing XML files
- Experience with PeopleSoft software preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid judgement and decision-making abilities
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently or as part of a team
Clearance: A background investigation at the T3 level is required, as this is not currently a classified position. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation :
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer
The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,000.00 to $80,750.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
