Job Description

We are seeking a Community Program Outreach Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for the programming initiatives of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a favorable public image for the organization
  • Coordinate activities and events with Executive Director
  • Leverage existing relationships and cultivate new contacts 
  • Develop and implement social media relations 
  • Speaking and making presentations to small and large groups
  • Recruiting and keeping volunteers
  • Report to and coordinate activities with the Board of Directors
  • Make referrals and provide information while keeping a code of confidentiality
  • Maintain respectful relationships with all affected by mental illness
  • Keep positive relations with existing contributors and develop new donors

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in community relations, non-profits, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with social media marketing strategies
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Creativity and flexibility
  • Willingness to be trained to present NAMI educational series and signature programs
