Reliable, Engaging Afternoon Nanny/Assistant Needed for Woodinville Family

* Location: Kirkland, WA

• Ideal start date: July 1 2024/ASAP
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, between 3:00pm-6:00pm with a later end time on Thursdays at 10:00pm. Ideally also Saturdays 12:00pm-4:00pm
• Children: three children ages 5, 7, and 9 years old
• Compensation: $35/hour with guaranteed hours, paid time off, accrued paid sick time, paid holidays,
• One year minimum commitment is required.
• Must be legal authorized to work in the United States

The Family:

This Woodinville family is seeking a fantastic nanny/family assistant to join their team! They hope to partner with a fantastic nanny who can help them to navigate some household help and afternoon activities with their children. Their children enjoy staying active and busy with play, sports, STEM and art boxes, baking and cooking, going to the park, doing worksheets, and going to Elevated Sportz.

Mom is due with their fourth child in November, and may be interested in some infant care as well. She will transition back to work in January, and they will likely be hiring a second nanny for more coverage at that time.

The Job Description:

The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing and loving environment for the child. Typical job duties will include:

• 3-4pm: arrive at the family home, pick up groceries, set table, cut up fruit/bread, tidy kitchen if needed (the family has a housekeeper in their home 3x/week)
• 4pm: drive family car to pick up children from camp or school
• 4-5pm: keep kids entertained preferably outside of the house at the local playground, or with biking. The kids have swim at the Pro Club on Wednesdays at 5:20pm, and typically you will return to the house with them around 6:15 those days.
• 5pm: typically the shift will end. The nanny is always welcome to stay for dinner if they would like
• Thursdays the nanny will help to tidy up after dinner and help the children with their bedtime routines.

Nanny Attributes/Qualifications/Requirements:

The family is looking to partner with a nanny with 2 years of experience who is reliable, engaging, and genuinely enjoys working with children. They should be proactive, reliable, and a good communicator.

The nanny should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. They should be current with their standard vaccinations, and have a current CPR/First Aid Certification (or be willing to update asap).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
