**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated Post-doctoral Fellow to join our research team. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge projects in the field of nanotechnology-based mobile biosensing technology development.

**Qualificaitons:**

PhD in biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

General understanding of immunoassays, nanomaterial-based optical/electrochemical biosensors, synthesis of functionalized nanomaterials (e.g., nanoparticles and nanofibers, ), nanoparticle-based lateral flow immunoassays.

Research and/or development expertise in immunoassays, biosensors, lateral flow assay technologies.

Hands-on experience in evaluating and validating bioassays and biosensors.

A team player, motivated, efficient, independent, and the capability to solve problems.

Friendly, articulate, and interested in working in a small team environment.

Experience in statistics and data analysis.

Experience in mobile app development and/or electrospinning for fabricating nanofiber, and/or microfludics, are preferred.

The candidates should have US citizenship or permanent resident card. The company will not sponsor non immigrant visa applicaiton such as H-1 visa for work in the Unite States,

**Duties:**

You will have a major role in developing new functional nanomaterials, bioassays, and biosensing technologies funded by the NC State funding and NIH federal funding to detect exposure biomarkers and pathogens. You will use your knowledge to help develop these new bioassay and biosensor technologies and demonstrate the feasibility of these new technologies, and grow them into final and mature technologies ready to be commercialized. You will work with the technical experts in the research team and help design and execute experiments of bioassay/biosensor examination and validation and analyze data.
