NANOTRONICS is Hiring an Applications Engineer Intern Near Brooklyn, NY
- Test results that are highly specific to the customers’ needs and/or processes;
- Generate significant test results in terms of precision, accuracy and repeatability;
- Test results that relate to process and/or performance requirements of the customers’ products giving more information than current test methods or other competitive test methods; and
- Test results that prove the system is capable of automating inspection that has historically required human-level intelligence.
All applicants must be U.S. persons as defined in the U.S. export control laws and regulations to include: U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident or individual admitted to the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.RequirementsResponsibilities
- Be an expert user of all hardware and software features of Nanotronics’ instrumentation.
- Assist in performing all testing and analysis required to support the above capabilities.
- Assist in design and execution of experiments to evaluate novel hardware and software components.
- Use Nanotronics nTelligence™ application to tag, label and train AI pipelines.
- Support preparation of concise reports of results indicating specific capabilities that will be of interest to the customer.
- Pursuing or completed bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Statistics, Mathematics or completion of relevant coursework
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in lab or clean-room environments
- Experience in manufacturing or processing
- Domain expertise in semiconductors and electronics
- Ability to grasp high order concepts in physics, microscopy, hardware design, automation, artificial intelligence, and robotics
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Japanese or Korean
- Strong work ethic
- Effective communicator
