Job Description
Salary:

 The Customer Service and Registration Specialist will work with and assist the Office Manager in all administrative tasks needed to enroll students into courses. This position will utilize online databases, Learning Management (LMS) platforms as well as traditional filing systems. This individual must have strong customer service skills and have the ability to interface with clients in a professional manner.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES  include the following:

This is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. Projects/duties may be added as needed to support the training mission.

  • Fulfill the role as the front desk customer service representative for visitors and clients.
  • Create spreadsheets, rosters, and data charts in Microsoft word and Excel.
  • Data entry into multiple systems.
  • Answer email inquiries from potential or current clients.
  • Use and become proficient in our internal billing systems.
  • Collect and record point of sale payments.
  • Be an expert in all course offerings and details associated with each product offered.
  • Maintain client
  • Comply with all administrative course regulations as governed by Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) and South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC).
  • Highly knowledgeable in our Learning Management System (LMS) and able to walk through the online enrollment process.
  • Use the LMS to generate reports.
  • Coordinate and schedule group travel for training event staff as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • National Registry EMT certification or higher
  • Must work well in a small team environment.
  • Experience working in customer service
  • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Capable of developing spreadsheets and working with Learning Management Systems

Desired Qualifications:

  • Highly capable with internal and external correspondence.
  • Experience working with local Emergency Medical Service (EMS) systems
  • Experience working with US Military personnel
  • Associates degree or higher in administration or similar field

DEMANDS

Time and Availability

  • This is a full-time position with an expectation of 40 hours each week
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as production schedule demands

Travel

  • Up to 25% travel may be required

Physical

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds on an infrequent basis
  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, and reaching

Environment

  • Must be able to work in a moderate industrial noise level environment up to 80 dB (not needed on a consistent basis but will need occasionally
  • Must be able to work in a non-smoking facility
