The Commercial HVAC Technician will repair and perform daily routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency service of HVAC/Refrigeration systems throughout Central Florida. You will be dispatched from your home.

Specifically, you will:

• Perform field repair of HVAC and Refrigeration systems throughout Central Florida (Tampa, Orlando, Gainesville)
• Complete all scheduled preventive HVAC maintenance assigned
• Complete all required documentation
• Maintain inventory control and review ordering needs with leadership
• Keep working areas and vehicles neat, clean, and tidy
• Complete tasks assigned within time constraints implied by leadership
• Maintain department standards performance in terms of attendance, appearance, performance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required

What it takes to succeed:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical trade school or equivalent experience with an emphasis on HVAC/ Refrigeration
• At least 2 years of practical HVAC/Refrigeration experience or combination of HVAC/ Refrigeration experience & trade school experience
• Knowledgeable in the reading of and working from blueprints and/or drawings
• EPA Universal level certification
• Experience in HVAC Controls
• Valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to repetitively climb stairs
• Ability to climb and work off of ladders
• Must be available to work scheduled on-call shifts or hours

Compensation: $25-34.00/hr based on experience
