Nassau Candy Distributors is Hiring a Customer Experience Specialist Near Hicksville, NY

With over 50 years of combined award-winning experience, NC Custom (the promotional products arm of Nassau Candy) is a top-40 ASI Supplier, and the leading diversified manufacturer of 3,000 plus items, ranging across confectionery, mints, chocolate, hard goods, health and beauty, wellness, premium apparel and soft goods, servicing distributors in the promotional products industry.

We are currently hiring an energetic Customer Experience Specialist, who will be responsible for working with our distributor network to provide overall product information and handle resolutions of all levels. This role will be ON-SITE at our Hicksville corporate offices.

This is an excellent opportunity for a college grad (or anyone!) who loves working with customers and wants to learn the promotional products / manufacturing business! We make cool stuff!

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and manage incoming calls and emails including order status, tracking information, and product questions.
  • Respond quickly to customer issues, all with a polite, empathic, and professional manner.
  • Provide customer service, resolutions, and support to distributors which includes price quotes, freight quotes, product information and program pricing.
  • Monthly follow-up on large repeat orders, samples, and other sales initiatives.
  • Provides administrative support for Outside Sales team and their territories.
  • Other daily responsibilities may include working with our production team on status updates and working with our production development team on custom projects.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer support, order resolutions, client services, or inside sales for a manufacturer or distributor (preferred).
  • Excellent at communicating over the phone and via email.
  • Intermediate computer skills including Excel, and experience with tracking and recording call information, filing documents, or updating customer profiles and accounts.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and accurate with excellent follow-up and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Customer-focused and thorough to create a positive customer experience and timely resolution.
